Video: An Insight into the 6812km Trans Am Bike Race

My good friend Jesse Carlsson is about to do something extraordinary. He will be riding self-supported across the USA as part of the 6812km (4223mi) Trans Am Bike Race. He aims to do 400km (250mi) every day for 17 days! Here’s an insight into the man, the race, the bike and the gear.

Update: Jesse ended up winning the Trans Am in a time of 18 days, 23 hours.

  1. Owen, Jesse is just hours away from completing the Trans Am! He is coming first and has been on the move for 18.75 days. Such an amazing effort! The next placed rider is 280mi (450km) back. I can’t wait to catch up with him and hear all about it. 🙂
