I usually travel for about 20 days and rest/edit for 10 days per month. As I don’t see many other travellers on the road, I like to stay in hostels where I can socialise and edit my videos. Each video takes a bit under a week to put together; I spend about a day organising/selecting clips, a day finding music and the rest stitching everything together.
My cameras are a Panasonic G9 with a 14-140mm lens, GoPro Hero6, and now a DJI Mavic Air drone. I use a Apple Macbook Pro laptop which is just powerful enough to crunch the huge amounts of video data. The editing is completed in Adobe Premiere Pro which I don’t recommend as it’s not at all user-friendly!
